Erythropoietin

Where is erythropoietin produced?i know that it is released from the kidneys but is it produced there?if so then how?
I would really appreciate help from anyone :)

Yes it is produced by the kidney. What do you mean how? By a protein synthesis... Like any protein

Erythropoietin is just like protein needed to make erythrocytes, produced in kidney..

I think protein synthesis was never cmae to my mind when i posted this question...silly me :lol:
