why are you doubling your posts?

Cis or trans? That's what matters.

is their any other interactions involve in DNA stability other than hydrogen and covalent bonds,, i have to do work on assignment "role of supramolecular interaction in DNA self assembly" plz help me.. i m very much confused i did not find any ionic, hydrophobic or vanderwal interactions involved in DNA assembly, is hydrogen bonding and phosphodiester are the only two bondings involve in DNA stability?

nope. actually H bonding don't really contribute much to the thermodynamic stability of the DNA molecule. the bulk of the stability is accomplished through base stacking http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pi_stackin ... in_biology

From what I know it's not actually 100% what sort of interactions contribute to the phenomenon known as pi stacking, but it is definitely THE major contributor to the thermodynamic stability of the DNA double helix

thanks , this information is really new for me, i have studied that that DNA is natively present in water, and there is some hydrophobic interactions also involved in stability, do you have any idea about it?

that's the pi stacking, as MrMistery wrote ;)
