slow-growing avirulent mycobacteria

Postby Abby » Tue Jul 05, 2005 2:39 pm

Does anyone have experience growing non-pathogenic slow-growing mycobacteria? Media - do you use middlebrook? Do you incubat the plates in CO2? DO you gro the cultures with aeration? Any suggestions would be appreciated since I want to grow significant amounts to purify a protein/
Thanks.
