Prednisone side effects

Postby MichaelXY » Sat Aug 02, 2008 9:08 am

Since about my fifth day of taking prednisone for my hearing loss, I have been unable to sleep. Does anyone know why. It is some sort of anti-inflamation drug, so is it because the gateways of my bloodstream are opening up, more blood and such? Dunno, but I am so tired, but I just can't get to sleep.

Nobody huh? Well the point is moot now as I took my last dose today. I was just hoping someone might have had some insight as to the changes in Physiology that might have explained the really bad insomnia.
