Neurobiology of hunger/thirst?Can you direct me to any articles online on this topic.
PS: I am not a bio student. But I am fascinated by it. Thanx PS: I happen to be a philosopher, rather than a true scientist...

Re: Neurobiology of hunger/thirst?How does the brain realize hunger? Is the physiology? Or is it the digestive system realizing something? If latter then what is "it"?

there are four hormones that control hunger, not only ghrelin. They are insulin, gherlin, leptin and PYY.
