A self experiment

Postby TestSubject » Sun Nov 02, 2008 6:38 pm

So I decided to do a self experiment after a conversation about sex, masturbation and hormones during and after teen years with some people. The idea is to refrain from masturbating (this also includes sex) for 4 months and recording my experience on a blog online. I would like to get your opinions! Did you ever try this? Your results?

Why you would do this is beyond my understanding, as I am sure there have already been written thousands of books on the topic.
But anyway, a little piece of advice: if you really want to make it sound like a legit experiment, be as objective as possible in your evaluations. For example, do not state "I am excited about the experiment"

Good luck with your experiment. Most men can survive that way approximately two days, so I hope you either are a woman, or have an iron will!

Hi, the reason I do this is to see what happens to me, my personality, my moods etc. I know it's not a real scientific experiment, but if you know any formal methods that can be used here I would love to hear from you!

Hah, 2 days. I know what you are talking about, I think this is a bad habit though. And no, I'm a guy and 19 years old.

Maybe you need a comparative study, do you have any friends who will happily masturbate like a trooper for four months.

You might actually experience some "withdrawl" symptoms like grumpiness and aggressiveness. Don't mistake these for how you would normallly be if you never masturbated. It's a funny experiment, and nobody's really going to take you seriously, but that's ok. I applaud your inquisitiveness. :D

PS: stopher... lol
