where does it occur in living organisms, what is a concentration gradient?

i need to know answers i am only in year 10 and need to finish some coursework

substances move from a region of high concentration to a low concentration, and this happens in many places such as lungs

Passive transport is the main principle to take in nutrients and O2 in to the cell.
