is the calculation of ‘relative risk’ useful to an epidemiologist? Lets discuss , I cannot see that it is , i found to be able to use it, every other aspect needs to be measurable .
Does it give a more accurate figure relating to certain diseases?

The EPA gives an estimate on human life. If the costs of the disease afflicting human life is more than funding needed to fix it, then usually they'll fund it. Otherwise you have pretty much "orphan" diseases...except of course the EPA deals with pollution but I'm sure there's something similar for other agencies.
