Help one of my unknowns left a green tint??I NEED HELP WITH MY UNKNOWN-
I BELIEVE ONE IS: S.a and the other Enterobacter aerogenes Does either one leave a green tint when inoculated on the nutrient agar?
Re: Help one of my unknowns left a green tint??I'm not sure if either one leaves a green tint on NA. S. aureus may appear yellowish/orangish sometimes but I haven't encountered a green one before. E. aerogenes is usually a coliform but still doesn't sport a greenish tinge in NA. Maybe your plate got contaminated by Pseudomonas.. just a thought.
