Yup, build tools for medical science or software to run them.

Do what you think you like best. I'm starting pre-med courses in August as a freshman, a big change from the journalist I wanted to be a year ago. If your high school offers an Anatomy class your senior year, you should consider taking it. That's what really helped me decide. You can also attend extra-curricular programs and events having to do with both fields to help you see which one you'd enjoy better. Going to a medical career day at a college gave me a lot of information. In the end, you have to be the one to decide which career is best for you. I don't think it's true that there's really no opportunities in computer science, even though the medical field may be a bit easier to get a job in. But the medical field often involves more college.
