DME-BSA

DME-BSA

Does anyone know what the DME stands for in DME-BSA. I know BSA is bovine serum albumin, but I can't find out what DME stands for. Also, is this reagent used as some sort of buffer to maintain cell stability? Thanks.

Not sure without a context, but can this be a modification of the DMEM (dulbecco's modified Eagle medium) used in cell culture?

I think that's it...we were using labeled antibodies to detect a particular antigen on mouse immune cells, and the cells were incubated with DME-BSA.
