Best US universities/ colleges for biology courses?Hi !
i am an overseas student wanting to persue a career in research biology. i wish to enrole in an american university for an undergraduate course with boilogy as a core subject. which is the best university for such a course ? also is USA the best destination??
USA is not bad. I don't know much about US Universities, but the University of Oxford in England is also well-known for biology, I think.
As for the USA, Harvard and Stanford are the top universities (in the world), but it's also difficult to get an admission there !
basically all those world famous universities are a good place to study science(since they have lots of money, good profs and great labs): Harvard, Stanford, Yale, Berkely, Princeton etc..

Well, if you want to be all fancy and stuff, go to an ivy-league on the east coast. But if you want a good time and some great experiences, and like the outdoors, go to OSU (Oregon State University)
aaah... you don't to college for a good time, you go to college to learn.. At least that's how i see it.

Yeah, unfortunately not everyone shares your opinion, Andrew. I would go to learn, but probably get distracted by the good times.

what better times than sitting all day long in the lab, and working at 3 am when you know everyone else is out partying? What better times than doing what you love and getting credit and respect for it, I ask you?

thank uthank u every1 fr ur replies. and despite all the contrary views, i am of the opinion that u do really go to college to pave a path for urself towards a sucessful career & not waste ur time attending pointless parties.(no offense meant, though.)
there is no element of genius without some form of madness.
Don't know one
