What should one look for as deer bedding sites?

Tall Grass, ferns and other vegetation that has been compressed.

Mostly tall grass in the winter.

They bed in groups..... and one Male deer always keep watch on predators....

Along with the others... Swampy areas, clumped trees. In more open areas such as in the tall grasses, a dead giveaway is the flattened grass.

Does the deer have any doe? Yeah, two bucks.

I always seem to find a lot of bedding near corn fields. Like Linn said, tall grass is the most common I would believe.

I live in Michigan so deer bedding is everywhere you look.

If you're in the NW USA, look for meadows or grassy patches in the middle of brush. They like to be within running distance of cover.
