Oh my goodness the June bugs are so thick here! They used to creep
me out because their legs are so sticky. But now I love them
Last year I was letting this one crawl around on me in my house because I am trying to get used to touching insects. Anyway, it was on the lamp and then we turned the lights out to watch TV and the next thing I knew... out of the darkness something alive hits me right in the head! Scared the crap out of me. We had to watch TV with the lights on after that.

one good macro lens

I really like my digital camera I have, it is not an SLR but it has a 'super macro' mode. I went and bought and expensive digital SLR that I am not very good at using yet. :X But... it is very hard to focus on an insect or spider when there is only an automatic focus.
PS- I forgot to say thank to you Bugz because YOU are the one that heightened my interest in dung beetles with your awesome pictures/stories. You're awesome and where are you at?

I go out in the pasture with a stick... Is that what I should do? He eats it.
