You know nugg, Chinese dung beetles were sent to Australia in 1970s, to solve the "cattle dropping problem" in pastures.

Well..Hmmm..

Above all, I had been enjoying insects since I was a little kid. I like dung beetles & burying beetles because they looks cute, and their life is really mystic, It make me wanna explore it. Furthermore, their shape is really cool. And you know these carrion animals were always misapprehended as evil creatures by people. In fact they are beneficial & meek. So I have a firm determination to change their situation, this determination impulses me keep on exploring and loving them.

I think they didn't cause imbalance in your ecosystems. Because your cattles and sheep are introduced species too. You know there are no cattles and sheep in ancient Austrila , they were all brought by Europeen colonist. And Austrilan aboriginal dung beetles only eat the kangaroo & koala's dropping. So nobody and nobug dealed with the cattle dropping, finally there were dropping everywhere, the flies was rapidly increased, and brought terrible disease, it was the "pasture problem" which I said. In 1970s ,Australian goverment introduce foreign dung beetles(which eat cattle dropping) into Austrila . Then, the pastures were cleaned. However, as far as I know, only the African species multiplied successfully. So the introduced species sovled the introduced species' problem.

Sachin, the "bugs" which I said is the appellation of insects & spiders in America, they always call incets "bugs", right? But "bugs" also means Hemipteran in America....And I think "bugs" in British english only means Hemipteran , the stinky bugs.I like both Hemipteran & Coleopteran. The Coleopteran is my favourite:lol: .

You know I want to be a entomologist too. But i don't know if i could. My undergraduate major is not entomology, I dont know if I could aplly entomology(or something similar) for Master Degree, I m applying the university of Aberdeen now....I gonna take the IELTS this weekend....

I ve grduated in General Zoology and then I m studying Masters in Entomology in Mumbai Universiy.....
