Do you hear differently in different body positions?

If you alter body position suddenly, your perception changes - e.g. what you hear is distorted.

Why is it that our senses are affected by body angle, even though they are capable of adjusting to some extent? anatomy? gravity? memory? otoliths?

See, my knowledge largely comes from my own individual hypothesis. I know something in a different area, and try to apply it to a possible situation based on my current knowledge. Which is why you shouldn't trust anything I say from this point on....

Well, I think it may have largely to do with how each angle affects the brain itself. I'm guessing that based on your angle, the rate of blood supply to the brain changes ever slighlty (for an example, if your body was upside down), and therein it affects the brain, and the temporal lobe controls hearing.
