plant sunburnY is it not possible 4 plant to get sunburn, does it have something to do with chlorophyll?
well plants can sorta get " sunburned" its called bleaching (photooxidation)
of chlorophyll if light is too intense. of course most plants native to areas of strong sunlight are protected by waxy cuticle. all plants have this called cutin in their epidermis. hope that helps a bit Last edited by Linn on Wed Nov 08, 2006 2:12 am, edited 1 time in total.
