Red Lips the morning after drinking

Postby lucytoo » Thu Oct 19, 2006 12:42 pm

Does anyone out there know why my lips go really red if I have been drinking the night before? It looks like I am still wearing lipstick but I am not?

I would propably think the redness is some low tolerance your body has to the chemicals present in the alcohollic beverages you ingest. Some people get red cheecks, qweeziness, etc

You may even be alergic to alcohol. If it is worrying you, go see what your doctor says.

you can't be alergic too alcohol, in the imunological sense. you can be alcohol intolerant maybe(or at least intolerant of high level of alcohol) but not alergic

I think it is not allergic reaction. Allergy is marked not by just red but also hot also itchy to painful feeling.
