clots in veins could be fatal

Postby honee_v » Sat Nov 11, 2006 2:30 am

u mean anoxic? anyways, if ur asking if blood clots could occur in blood vessels such as veins that carry deoxygenated blood (from organs back to heart).. then id say yes, and sometimes clots forming inside veins could be dangerous... (like in the case of deep vein thrombosis)

to find general mechanism of blood clot formation (inside blood vessel) check out this link http://www.mhhe.com/biosci/esp/2002_gen ... m1s7_3.htm
