michigan thorn trees

:?: i was womdering if some one could help me identify a thorn tree from michigan. i am from here and this is the 1stt ime in all my life i have seen sompthing like it. the bark it's self is covered in thorns and the thorns have more growing out of them. thay r a dark red brown and verry sharp. if u have an idea of what it is or how i can find it ples tell me.
