ask about seed & grey patches

may anybody tell me that
1. Are the seeds inside the bean living or non-living ??
and Why???
2. Is those grey patches on the food living or non-living???
and Why???

Is it all right if I answer question 1 with these points??/
1. It will growing
2. the bean is a food reserve for germinationonec the environment is
suitable
3. water (activate the enzyme and dissolve the food)
4 temperature (suitable for enzyme to work)
so the seed will germinate
if there are anymore reason can you tell me??

and I really don't understand question 2
can you give me some suggestion ??/

what is your definition of living and non living? then see which one the seed fits more into.

Hello my friend. I have an answer maybe you agree. Today it is very complicated question in scientific world some says that it is live and some says not . Because they accept that nothing can be appear or evolve from absence and nothing could be dissappear but transform to different state of substance thus just the variation of a material\substance . But indeed as we see every winter dead world with alives in it come to life in 2 weeks or 2 days. Animals dead in spring comes back again from emptyness, dead plants and trees come to life again before our eyes. In other words, as said in Quran:
He restores life to the earth after its death - verily He it is Who quickens the dead, for He is powerful over all things.(RUM 50/56)

So the seeds and the eagles are all dead until someone "blows" them life.
