Postby d daley » Sun Aug 20, 2006 4:48 am

I just had a liver biopsy and the diagnosis reads as follows "Mild nonspecific large droplet steatosis with rare Glycogenated Hepatocyte nuclei. Can anyone please tell me what that means??? :?

Sorry can' help. But you should discuss that with your doctor. He or She is the most qualified to answer you, and al questions you may have afterwards. That is his job...

Steatosis with rare Glycogenated....

Postby d daley » Sun Aug 20, 2006 6:21 pm

I am having difficulty getting this doctor to go over my report(s) with me. In the mean time, am suffering with very high levels of copper toxcicity amoung other things. Yes, you are right, it is his job. While I am waiting for him to DO his job, I was hoping to find out as much as possible from "where-ever". Thank you though for responding to my post.

Then you should try to find another doc. It's not that I do not want to help, but:
1- I am not qualified to make any diagnosis
2- Giving out personnal health info on the net is not a safe thing
3- Beware of whatever info on the net, when you are talking about your life/health as you hav no way to check for the credentials of whoever answers

That is why I srongly advise you to find a local health person qualified to answer your questions, this is the safest for you.

Patrick,
I understand..I'm just so desperate and sick that I have little patience with the nonchalant, sloppy, medical care I've been experiencing. Basicly, all I'm looking for at this time is just a "general" idea of what's going on with my liver.... Having just recently moved, I've been forced to use doctor(s) that I have no history with, which appears to be part of the problem.

I do however, appreciate your comments regarding caution about info given and recieved on the net, and want to genuinely thank you for even taking the time to respond to me. Wish me luck..I'm pretty sure I'm going to need it.
