Does anyone know about AMOEBA FEEDING BEHAVIOUR?

Postby Luke111 » Sun Aug 20, 2006 1:54 am

I'm doing an investigation on the feeding behaviour of amoeba and am having trouble finding any valid information. Any information i've been able to find has been highly questionable.

Basically I am hoping to design an experiment which will accurately represent how amoeba behave around sources of energy (primarily food sources). My research to this point would suggest links between positive taxis and foods which are highly nutrient based.

If anyone has any information or links, it would be much appreciated.
