mouse ear clipper?

Postby unibas » Tue Aug 15, 2006 12:30 pm

We are new to working with mice.
We tag our mice by ear clipping, and use the small piece of ear for genotyping.
We have tried several clippers, but they are not ideal since they never puncture a full hole, there is always a small piece which stays attached. Then we have to play with the angle of clipping and it's not too convenient.
Is there another method for ear clipping?
Or could anyone recommend a good clipper?
thanks very much
