Are antipain-HCL and leupeptin toxic to cells?

Postby imm » Mon Apr 25, 2005 10:18 am

Want to use antipain-HCL and leupeptin in insect cell expression cultures to prevent proteolytic degradation.
Does anyone know if these are toxic to cells ?
Thanks

leupeptin is not toxic. I don't think antipain-HCL is toxic either.
See http://www.sciencegateway.org/resources/protease.htm for more information
