eczema - skin disease

There are a growing number of eczema cases. There are different types, one type is atopic eczema. This is due to a larger number of IgE (catalyst) proteins- antibodies. Thus increasing sensitivity of memory t/b cells. Thus producing a response. Common causes of this are asthama and hay fever.

How could asthama cause atopic eczema?

Can some be tested for atopic eczema, by exctracting blood serum and looking for the amount of IgE in blood serum?

An atopic constitution is the term given to people who display symptoms of astma, hay fever and eczema; one does not cause the other, they are all part of one syndrome (very common as most people with astma will also have a degree of eczema and vice versa).

Testing for IgE levels can be done but it is very non-specific; confirming astma or eczema is a clinical diagnosis not a laboratory diagnosis.

a lab diagnosis is given by a biochemist that does an experiment or any lab process.
A clinical diagnosis is given by a doctor(MD) that examines your health condition

I have both eczema and asthma, and they keep coming back in some conditions, and I have no idea how to recover from them. Theoretically I understand about them but as a patient who suffers I don't know what I should do, even my doctors give up

About my eczema, it's a dry type, a small size just as wide as a coin, locates on my leg. It seems like my skin "keeps molting" when it's coming back. I think now I have no epidermis of the eczema area. To be honest, this makes me less self-esteem thus I never wear short skirt or shorts

My grandaughter has it too. Seems it gets worse in the winter and when she eats certain foods.

Exactly! Extreme cold annoys me also some "high protein" food likes peanuts and seafoods But I still consume them
