hair is a product of our gene's destiny

Postby smiljko » Sun Jul 30, 2006 8:26 pm

Distribution of hair's density and growth depend of our genes, but not only by them because these genes are in corelation with environment (temperature conditions etc); example: if your ancestor lived in cold areas, genes are adapted for it and produce more transcription for amino-acids to build longest hair on head or other parts of body. Some people have a zone of a lot of hair in some parts and the reason of it's probably that this body had sometimes extremly freezed or hair's genes for this body part just get "crazy" <- reaction on some inner/outer condition. At the end, we became from monkey's, so we must have a lot of this "hairy" genes; our evolution, conducted by our civilisation, try to reduce them and create of us a total unhaired bodies, but we're still in a process in this giant (for our history) evolution.

p.s. Excuse me for my bad english.

I'm not sure that I understood the last part of your sentence. I don't have completely knowlidge about hairy face problem, but I'm sure that there is some relation with hormonal effects, acctually hormons which regulate it simply explode in the human age what we call puberty; also if you often shave some places on the face, hair is stronger and stronger on this places. I'll try to find some physiology's sources about your interest in literature or web and then will write you on this topic.

Best regards

what is define of reason

Postby smiljko » Tue Aug 01, 2006 9:08 pm

The main question is what you call REASON. In biochemistry, anatomy, genetic and physiology only reason is enviroment like action and genes, like reaction on it. This bind ACTION-REACTION is the spine of all life's processes what we know. Deeper of the I can't explaine.

one theory

Postby smiljko » Thu Aug 03, 2006 12:02 pm

Finally, I understood your question. Well, my opinion is some kind of atavism (phenotip displayed at today's organisms which is characteristic for their ancient ancestors). Probably menstruation turn on (express) this genes for face's hair and so that's going more and more.

This maybe isn't true, I like to be explained by some good biologist; write on this topic if you find good explanation. I'll also write if I find it.
