Re: two different color eyesI, as well, have two different colored eyes! I have never been made fun for it though fortunately. My right eye is just green and my left eye is green with 3 dark brown stripes in it, like a pin wheel, or the bio hazzard sign. Bio hazard has become my nick name due to my left eye. Both of my parents have brown eyes. And my grandpa is a twin, but that's the only relative I've got that is a twin. His sister though, not his twin, a differnt sister, has one brown stripe in one of her blue eyes. She was born like that though and her doctor told her it is a birth mark. Mine however, didn't show up untill I was about three months old. My doctor told me that most caucation babies are born with blue eyes and then they change to green or brown after a few months. He told me that my eyes were suppose to change to brown, but didn't. They stopped during the change and never completed. It is very noticable and people randomly on the bus or in the mall stop and ask me about it. But truth be told, it's one of my favorite features and I love love love it. Wouldn't trade it for a thing [=
Re: two different color eyesI have central heterochromia which is not two different colored eyes but two different colors in the same iris. The part of my iris near my pupil is gold and the rest of my iris is blue. It's pretty cool looking and makes my eyes look creepy and strange.
Re: love my eyes
I have one blue eye and one green eye. When I do not feel good, my eyes change color everytime and that is why I tell ppl to look at my eyes. One of my twins' eyes changed their colors from a blue to a hazel at age 2 but both. I love my eyes and I am blond. There is this one moron giving me BS with calling me a dog having 2 different eyes, but us two different colored eyed ppl are unique!
Re: two different color eyesMy right is blue and my left is green most of the time sometimes they switch. my moms eyes are blue and my dads are green. I am the only one in my family that has two different eye colors. I can see perfectly out of my right but barely out of my left. its really weird I was even born with it and on my birth certifacate it says eyes: blue and green. my friends tell me i am an angle becuase of it. But i am not i am a boring 13 year old lol. I have no clue what it means but its soooooooo cool
Re: two different color eyesI have 2 different coloured eyes - my right is brown and my left is blue with a green patch at the top. Never seen anyone else with this combination! When I was born I had one light blue eye and one dark blue. Everyone I meet thinks it's really cool, and no one has ever met anyone else like it!
My mum has brown eyes and my dad has hazel eyes. I heard it could be linked to Marfan's syndrome? I have tendancies, but no idea how it could be linked! My fave lines are "did you know your eyes are different colours?" and when people just say "your eyes are different colours" like I don't already know! Haha x
Re: two different color eyesOops sorry that's meant to be right eye brown with a green patch and left eye blue!
Re: two different color eyesi too have 2 different eye colors (blue and brown)
when i was young, there were some kids who teased me because of this but nowadays everyone finds it cool it's also funny when somebody you already know for very long suddenly says :"wow, you have 2 different eye colors!" (there was even, when i was young, an elder woman who said that i will be very popular by girls because of this but i never have had a girlfriend anyways i always found it cool to have 2 different eye colors
Re: two different color eyesi have two different eye colors in b oth my eyes....they both are half grey and half greenish hazel...what made my eyes like this???
wteva it is i luv it
Re: two different color eyesMy eyes are also two different colours (blue and green) but they are not always extremely noticable. In the sunlight they shine though, and some people find it disturbing if I look at them. XD I didn't use to like them, but now they've kind of grown on me. My mom has blue eyes, and my birth father had brown eyes (I think...). Your eye colour is only partially hereditary though, most of what determines your eye colour is eumelanin (a pigment in the larger pigment melanin) in the iris stroma and the iris pigment (epithelium) , and the cellular density of your iris stroma. "Lost" melanocytes are the cause of heterochromia iridium (having two different coloured eyes) , but it is also due to hereditary genetics, genetic mosaicism, and or because of disease or injury. I'm doing a project on it in Chemistry 11.
