When I double my exercise why won't my heart rate double

Well your heart rate increase so you can get more oxygen out to your body.

And although you FEEL you are doubling your exercice you hasn't doubled
your oxygen needs and your heartrate will not double.

You will have to work VERY hard to double your oxygen needs.

There are other factors at work also, but I don't feel like writing a thesis on excercice. (I don't feel qualified either)

What does it raise too?
