What stages of development, if any, do plant and animal embryos share?

they are differ. no blastula in plant either gastrula. small plant is called "plantelete"(..maybe i am wrong in spell this word), but small animal may called a baby....

Generally, in animal including: zygot (fertilized cell) - 2 cells - 4 cells - ... - morulla (32 cells) - blastula (ectoderm, entoderm) - gastrula (ectoderm, mesoderm, entoderm) - differentiation stage.

None. The simmilarities stops when the cells begin to differentiate. First of all, there are big differences between plant and animal cells. Plant cells have a cell wall, permanent vacuolae, chloroplasts, chromoplasts. So if we look at a plant embryo we will find differences even at the celular level.

In both plant and animal reproduction the embryo remains attatched to the parent by a tube like extension. In animals it is the umbilical chord, while in plants it is the funicle.
