Postby fireblaze » Fri Jul 07, 2006 9:17 pm

many people have strokes, diabetes, and heart attack. it seems that ony people that are over weight suffer these. why do obese/overweight people have diabetes, strokes and heart attacks? what is the link between high BMI and these diseases?

Not all overweight people have diabetes, strokes, etc. They're just more likely in overweight people.

Fireblaze,

Some people who are apparently over or underweight get diabetes and heat attack. Because its genetics.... Some people are classed overweight by the MBI (mass body index) when in real terms their not overweight.
As a lot of very fit american foot ball players would be classed as overweight as well as Rugby players. The muscle bulk is being measured the same as fat..

There`s more a link with infection and allergic reactions than eating too much....Though stress and hormone levels have a lot to do with it also.

Obesity is now shown to be #1 cause of death in U.S. specifically because of it's link to heart attacks, heart disease, diabetes, etc.
The hand of God may well be all around us, but it is not, nor can it be, the task of science to dust for fingerprints.

Damien and fireblazer,

Yes some people put weight on who have hardering of the artaries while others don`t...
Its still very much a lack of knowledge and even government properganer as to how it happens.. Some people in the USA might eat more than the average Brit...

Up to about 2 years or so ago the UK government was saying our
calorie intake had in fact got less over the last 20 years or more...
Then strangly they said they did not know why the weight and the allergic
reactions where occuring?
The western world had this suddern rise in allergic condtions and linked to that weight gain in some people.

The NHS was worried about Nanoparticles. Which seem to co-enside with this raise in both allergic conditions and weight gain.
Nanopatricles/nanochemicals/nanoinfections/cchem trails and Corona Ions.

Reports all burried...
Several things happened around the 1970`s as far as understanding of how the body worked.. Hardering of the artaries, diabetes, allergic reactions... Well allergies as far as most doctors in the UK did not exsist.
Weight gain and diabetes was due to diet.

Then when one reads that the government choses not to tell the whole story, as to how hardning of the artaries happeneds. Why I am not sure?
There is actually a link between allergic reactions and the way these reations rote the insides of the artarties and possible the gut..
Some people may naturally produce too much cholestrol. But what actually happens is the lining of the blood vessels act as a fishing net.
The fat gets deposited in the pockets.
There is also a controvacy about salt causing high blood pressure, whereas its really a defficiency of Magnesium, which is allowing the salt to
come out of solution. Scienentists got hold of the wrong end of the stick.
perhaps? Or it was science being crupted.

The real cruption is stress effecting the way the hormones work..
That stress is likely coming from environmental pollution. The governments doing their best to hide info. and blame it on the public at large.

I do not subscribe to conspiracy theory, all I know is that here in U.S., Americans are eating larger portion, lower quality food, and doing less activity, so weight goes up.
The hand of God may well be all around us, but it is not, nor can it be, the task of science to dust for fingerprints.
