what is ALD? how can we avoid this ? :?:

Do you mean Adrenoleukodystrophy? Its a genetic disorder so you are born with it. Although the childhood form is more severe there is also an adult-onset form. So I dont see how you can avoid it. Do a search on google for it if you want to know more.

It looks like stem cells (or bone marrow transplants; effectively hematopoetic stem cell transplants) are successful, when done properly. Unfortunately, the procedure has a 40% mortality rate.

i found some think about Lorenzo's oil. This oil can be some what helpful for this disorder.

Or do you mean "Alcoholic liver disease"?

And the treatment is not drinking so much!

On a positive note it now seems that Lorenzos oil might actually work
