Sialic Acid Estimation

Hi Guys

im working in recombinant human Erythropoietin i need to know how to estimate sialic acid right now im doing by resorcinol method
my problem is that im getting two different colour for different analysis one is golden yellow and other blackish blue i dont know which one is correct and in EP also there is no clear mention of color formation
pls give ur valuble justion with ref and give the protocol validation
