glucocorticoids, glucagon and insulinplease explain me the similarity in the actions between glucocorticoids and glucagon-about their actions on inflammation, protiens, fats etc....i get bit confused in this topic......please......
what I know is like this:
Glucagon = signals the target cells to breakdown glycogen into glucose. Glucocorticoids = produced in cortex of adrenal glands and affecting in the macromolecules breakdown (it converts from glucose breakdown into fat and protein breakdowns to aquire energy). It also acts as immunosurpressive agent. it's also called as "long-term stress hormone". Q: Why are chemists great for solving problems?
A: They have all the solutions.
