Please can somebody help me!
what is better to have as the variable for investigating the transpiration rates for 2 different types of plants?
Wind speed or temperature?
What happens in each case.

I've no idea which is better but I've just randomly decided to do mine on tmeperature.

Well, i don't know what exaclty happens in each case, since both the factors, wind speed and temperature, are two limiting factors for transpiration, you can take either of them, i guess , for example if you took temperature as the varying factor, then you can carry out the same experiment with constant temperature but varying wind speed as further work.

If you're going to only choose one of those factors, then you'll have to keep the other one constant.

You could do a multivariable regression with both of them though.

Thankyou i have decided to do light intensity and although i realise there could possibly be the added variable of the heat from the light it seems like the most sensible and fairly simple one to do...Fingers crossed!
Anymore help on this topic would be gratefully appreciated though!

maybe you will get a much transpiration by using the low preasure in the environment.. but using wind is not a good way. more transpiration can decrease the false in your calculation.

any way, if you use hydrophyte plant it will give you a big problem...the evaporation is the matter.
even you use light as your variable.

oh well, if you can work with it.. this will not help much, maybe at all.
eh, i hope you do that in a constant preasure(i mean the preasure...atm).
