killing bacteriahi all.. one of my friend asked me if pestiside - like the PIF PAF - has the ability to kill bacteria or affects its metabolism.. so, im wondering if it does or not..
thanks..
I do not know what PIF PAF is. But basically I would answer no to your question. They may have an effect on their metabolism, but I doubt they will kill bacteria. That is why disinfectant and pesticide are not the same thing

Like how pesticide will kill termite, but when you cut open their belly, microorganism that digest cellulose still alive inside.
look at the structure of pesticide and try to find any related pest's enzyme which is blocked by that and compare it with bacteria.
Q: Why are chemists great for solving problems?
A: They have all the solutions.

I agree. Only 199869885876 enzymes to scout through @rg Very good idea. Let's sink our gardens in salt water "As a biologist, I firmly believe that when you're dead, you're dead. Except for what you live behind in history. That's the only afterlife" - J. Craig Venter
Use Azadiracta indica juice with a good ditergent to spray wash ur plants...best for their health. Get rid of bacteria & viruses too. If you add haldi powder to it then it will kill fungi too atleast the ones where the spray reaches.
