Please help----erthrocyte

Postby bljenkins » Sat Apr 01, 2006 12:58 am

Alan moves from Andrews, Texas to Boulder, Colorado. He notices the first week that he is short of breath and tires easily. His sypmtoms gradually disappear and he feels fine in the next couple of months. After 2 years, he move back to Andrews. He has a complete physical and the physician tells him that his erthrocyte count is higher than normal. How do you explain this finding? Will his erythrocyte count remain at this higher level? Why or why not?

I have so much homework from uni that I hate when I come to my favorite board and have more homework >:(
The hand of God may well be all around us, but it is not, nor can it be, the task of science to dust for fingerprints.

It might help you to know that the elevation of Boulder, Colorado is 5340 ft and the elevation of Andrews, Texas is 3175 ft.

@angel, we're just joking around. We have a policy of not doing other peoples homework; we will help guide you to the right answers but if you simply post your homework here(like many people do) we'll either delete it or give it some good ribbing ;)
