aspirin courseworkI have to plan an experiment to determine the amount of aspirin left in the body after excretion by measuring the amount in urine.
I have been given a 1.5% solution of aspirin. Can anyone tell me how you find out how many aspirin tablets this is equivalent to. Thanks
Asprin tablets have different doses I'm thinking around 200400mg. Check your asprin bottles.
You'll probably have to use molality or molarity formulas to find out how much asprin is in your solution. good luck

I have worked out that a 1.5% solution of aspirin is equivalent to one tablet in 20cm3 of water.
I now need to dilute this solution to get different concentrations of this solution. Can anyone tell me how I would go about doing this. Thanks
Huh? Isn't that obvious? You use measured amounts of your solution to prepare diferent dilutions

I hv asked teacher, she said we can measure the con.c of aspirin in blood n do something else. And she said we can find out the con.c of aspirin left in the body without knowing the amount of intake of aspirin. But i dont hv a clue how to find out
