what animal are these teeth from?..... helpwalking on the beach in Vancouver Canada, among all the shell and bones washed up the sea I found this part of a mandible, can any one recognize what animal this came from?

I wonder if they're from some type of fish...
Most mammals have incisors (or a dental pad), canines, premolars and molars..... In your picture, there is no variation in tooth structure. Size, yes, but not shape...there are no molars, premolars or difinitive incisors. I say....creature of the sea. ![]()
Maybe from a Moray?Could they're be from a Moray fish (Gymnothorax spp).

I know this sounds weird, but it might be from a salmon. I'm not sure exactly what breed, but they do grow those long curved teeth at the front. Actually, the other day my biology teacher brought in a salmon jaw and it looked just like that. I could be way off, but it looks so similar.
