How to generate shoots from a rooted leaf?

Hi,
I was able to generate roots to grow from the petiole of a Poplar leaf that I soaked in a nutrient solution for 10 days. The leaf and roots are very healthy. How can I generate shoots from this material?

I would like to use this method to create somaclonal variants and perhaps tetraploids.
