You must remember: first we get atrial depolarisation in the P-wave then when we get a PR-segment, atria are contracting. Then depolarisation of the ventricles begins resulting in a QRS-complex. Then ventricular contraction occurs in the 'flatline' between S and T-tops (just as atrial contraction occurs at the 'flatline segment between P and R tops). Also here occurs the first heartsound due to closing of the AV-valves. The repolarization occurs, resulting in a T-wave and ventricular relaxation in the 'flatline' segment between T-wave and P-wave. That's why the second heartsound occurs after the T-wave: the closing of the semilunar valves.
