Toxicated bird species & Leeches

Is there any toxicating bird species, even just with a feather of it can kill a human? I want to know coz I've read a detective novel and found it. Is it true?
And about leeches, can I divide Hirudo medicinalis into 2 and get 2 of it? Coz Hirudo medicinalis is grouped in worms' phyllum.

I don't know anything about leaches, but I can hazard a guess about the birds.

I've never heard of one, and it seems unlikely because of the structure of a bird. The feathers are hollow, allowing a lighter weight to allow flight. To fill them with a fluid like venom would greatly increase this weight, and likely not prove too useful. I'm not an ornithologist, but I don't believe that there are any vessels which lead from the feathers to any part of the body (necessary for delivery of the venom).

Nevertheless, there are many strange creature all over the world, and it'd certainly be cool to find such a special type of bird!

Well, I do not know about even one feather, but there
is a species of quail, that is deadly when EATEN, when
it has some kind of organism that I can not remember off
hand what.
Mention of it is in the bible, and Columbus voyage I think?
whn they were lacking fresh meat other than fish, sometimes
the wind
of storms,blew these quail , where they would rest on th e ship
, and the sailors woud sicken and die (relatively quickly too)
after eating them.
And there is modern examples too.
