Dear Friend, I make some of the reason concern with vesicular transport / bulk transport.

They are called vesicular transport because it uses vesicles.
They are a part of Active transport because there is re-arrangement of plasma membrane.
large polar molecules can only transported in cell via vesicular transport because of their large size and nature.
Pinocytosis is referred as Cell drinking because particles converted into liquid in vesicles.
Phagocytosis is termed as transporting medium and a part of Imune System because it engulf antigens and transport very large molecules like cholestrol,macrophages,plasma protein in and out of the cell.
