sex determination and linkage

i have a problem in difference between SEX LINKED,SEX INFLUENCED and SEX TRIATED please explain with regards to disease such as COLOUR BLINDNESS, HAEMOPHILIA,ETC............... :lol:
IN SMALL PROPORTIONS WE MAY JUST BEAUTIES SEE
IN SHORT MEASURES LIFE CAN WONDERFUL BE

I cant answer that do not know about genetics at all.
Just curious. :)

Sex influenced is when an allele is dominante in one sex but recessive in another. Sex linked is when a gene is found on either the X or Y chromosome but not the other. I think color blindness is sex linked, but I am not sure about the other one.

Actually 3 genes for 3 pigments are involved in color seeing:red,green,blue. Genes for red and green are on X chromosome but gene for blue pigment is on autosome(chromosome 7 but not 100% sure). Mutation in any of these genes can cause color blindness. :)

SEX INFLUENCED:a disease whose expression or severity differs between the sexes. That is, it occurs more frequently in either males or females

SEX LINKED:a disease which is determined by genes carried on the X chromosome

dont know abot sex triated disease though...
