After few times reading, I still found it hard to understand about arterosclerosis. Can someone explain to me again, especially the part where thrombus develops, how it the artery being blocked.

thrombus occur when trombocytes suddenly activate the anti-bleeding reaction....but, the bad news is...they do it in a closed system of, this kinda fibrin threads block the flow of RBC and causing aterosclerosis.

But I think the use of aterosclerosis term is more to the blockade by LDL inside the bloodvessel..:lol:

There's artherosclerosis which occurs in larger vessels and is due to fatty deposits...

And there's arteriolarsclerosis which occurs in smaller vessels.

The thrombi occur in areas which have impaired blood flow. Once the platelets become too large, the break off and travel until they become lodged again...Cerbral Vascular Accident (stroke), Pulmonary ThromboEmbolism (PTE), Aortic ThromboEmbolism (ATE), Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT), Myocardial Infarct (MI aka "Heart Attack").
