Re: animal blood in my blood
Blood of other species is a strong antigen for another species. In this case, human lymphocyte will bind dog's RBC called as rossette reaction. Dog's plasma that contains several components, one of them is protein, will be attacked by our immune system i.e. phogocytes, complement system, and antibodies. Eventually, our defense system try to elliminate all dog's blood from our internal environment. ![]()
Injecting other species plasma or serum (mostly serum) is aimed to harvest antiserum for that species. For instance, for your case, injecting human serum into rabbit is aimed to get human antiserum (anti-human). The product is then called rabbit anti-human. This is a polyclonal antiserum. ![]()
It is totally different between agglutination and coagulation. Don't mix it, and use the proper one ![]()
