Rate of diffusionHey does anyone know the formula for rate of diffusion??? thxs
dn/dt=PA(c2-c1)
dn/dt=quantity transported per time unit P=permeability coeficient A=the surface of contact where diffusion takes place c2,c1=concentrations of the stuff on both sides, c2>c1 IS this what you need?? "As a biologist, I firmly believe that when you're dead, you're dead. Except for what you live behind in history. That's the only afterlife" - J. Craig Venter
Re: Rate of diffusionrate of diffusion = surface area x difference in concentration
length of diffusion pathway
