Cell Organelle Model..any ideas??

Anyone got an idea on how to do a model of a mitocondria so it can open and hold information on the inside?

Paper mache? Clay? Legos?

This is a tough one. I'd probably just take construction paper, glue, and tape and pray it works.

Oh..and for info...have a shish-kabob stick attached to it with a print out of info taped to it...kind of like a flag and flagpole....

Colorful wax block. You could be an instant sculpture with this media 8) This is my fave toy when I was a kid :) I used it to make a model of toad's zygot development, explaining mitosis, meiosis, crossing over, etc.
