I wonder why we draw the family tree upside down!! Shouldnt it be downside up, as all trees are!!

Really? It is not always, IMO. My genealogic trees(phylogeny) are from down to upside, like the one below, though some others are from upside down, but some others else are from left to right, even from center to everywhere (branching)
