Thanx,
I will go check that out
I'm new to these threads, and have been waisting time reading posts that go no where.
I love intelligent debate.
But whats the point when people are closed minded.
Because we have an opposing view we are not scientific just a bunch of idiotic astronomers or something.

My answer: no
CoolJay221,
we did not come from apes
that is my opinion because there is no scientific evedence to the contrary.

*note, this is only linn's opinion. Read the wikipedia article on Intelligent design and you'll see sources cited which state that the majority of scientists(excluding the discovery institute) fully support evolution and declare ID to not be scientific.

Well I think its easy to not stand out and be a sheeple.
Just imagine how it must have felt to debate evolution when it was NOT popular, Or to debate that the earth was not flat.
Its really baffling to me that no one can think for them selves anymore.
There is LESS evidence to prove your so called theory than there is to prove in creation.
However you are not interested in debate.
Or being open minded.
And it pisses you off when the same quetions are asked because you know how flawed your belief is.

I'd be happy to hear that. Except, of course if you just have something like "it's too complicated so it must be created". But if you have something that will prove creation, let's hear it...

Why bother
I would be repeating myself.
you cant be objective.
We have given you information that you just keep ignoring.
Not everyone of your contemporaries believes in evolution.
I do not see you providing any evidence either. only opinions.
I gave you an example allready.
Why dont you open your mind a bit?
The kids cant make a decision that is their own because they have not been presented with alternate ideas, which actualy help them be better scientists. And they have just become sheeples.
I am so sorry to hear that.
adios

Well, if you stand out from the "sheep", you're not automatically right. In fact you're either a visionary or a nutcase like those who believe ufo's created everything. If you show creationism to be a scientific alternative, maybe you are a visionary. So far springer has already said that ID isn't science and attacked science for being materialistic. Care to add more?

p.s.If you think evidence proves theory then, you really need to know what science is. And I haven't seen you cite anything at all..

And dont be speaking for springer. because you will get that wrong to.

(dont worry Iam not starting! lol :)
you do make me laugh in a good way, I am not being sarcastic.
I think nut case I must be because I BELIEVE IN UFO'S!
But that they created things? Who knows. I think some day in the future we may find an other earth-like planet.
after this one has been ruined (hope not), we will establish colonies there.

Have you ever considered there could be life on other planets?
spend more time outside looking at the stars.

PS have you found my citations at all? 8)

Here's an interesting study on Dingos. I know we're trying to steer the conversation back to homonids, but this still has to do with speciation, so it's relevent.

I don't think you guys would be able to access the full-text, but if anybody wants it I could copy and paste it in. (not sure how illegal that is or how much trouble I could get in...???).
What did the parasitic Candiru fish say when it finally found a host? - - "Urethra!!"

I'm an avid amateur astronomer, and I do believe life has to exist elsewhere in the universe. The universe is simply too big to pretend that we're all alone. However, I do not believe in UFOs as I have never seen any conclusive evidence that aliens are visiting us. Perhaps you know something that I don't, Linn? Care to share?

I met an alien from the Planet Jwhoihc. He told me that his name is Bob and he is from the race Jwhisx. We had long conversations and he told me of many things, even the mystery of the origins of life itself.....
